PHASE 1 HIGH FLOW INTAKE KIT

Air is power!  Let the Tohatsu 40/50 breathe with the FCR high flow intake kit to suit 40/50 blocks.  Includes-

-  Big bell velocity stacks

-  H/F intake plate (50 carb bore)

-  Ultimate pro series reeds

-  3x Tohatsu intake gaskets

Tohatsu/Nissan control horsepower through carbs, reed intake plates and reeds.  Fast Cats Racing high flow reed intake plates are perfectly flow matched from the round outlet of the carburetor to the rectangular inlet of the reed cage.  From factory the carburetors are also offset 3mm and now have been centered to perfectly flow match to the reed cage.  A vast improvement over the factroy design and a perfect accessory matched to Boyesen's ultimate pro series carbon reeds and FCR big bell velocity stacks.  Petal restrictors are removed when installing Boyesen reeds to allow full flow to the crankcase.

Note:  Recommended timing cam linkages are the D one piece black plastic, FCR one piece billet aluminium and 50 spec cast aluminium two piece with the extra casting lump.  Tohatsu Part # 3E3-63718-1.  Do not use 40 spec timing cam linkages as they do not open to full throttle.  40 carbs are not designed to open to full throtle.
